Job Description

Desktop Support Specialist

Location: 1062 HK, Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

Duration: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
  • Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Teams
  • VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Perform IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission).
  • Support Active Directory (user account creation, password reset, group access).
  • Provide support for software installations and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors when required.
  • Maintain and update ticketing systems with accurate issue resolution details.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and user communication.
  • 2-5 years of experience in EUC / Desktop Support / Service Desk role.
  • Windows 10/11
  • MS Office 365
  • Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
  • Good communication skills in English (Dutch is Mandatory).
