The Recornect solution consists of a secure touchscreen with a personal and secure digital environment. The operational department is responsible for installing and servicing the solution in customer environments and providing support throughout the lifespan.
Job description
As a support engineer, you'll be part of the operational department. You will provide technical support on the Recornect solution with a focus on the software. Most of your work will be remote, but you'll also occasionally be on-site in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or the UK.
You'll collaborate with field service engineers and the project manager, who are responsible for installation and field service. You'll also work with the Customer Success Manager, who is responsible for optimizing the use of the Recornect solution in healthcare and correctional environments.
You'll proactively maintain customer systems, provide advice and support, and ensure the structured handling of service tickets. We have a diverse customer base, and we prefer to serve them in their native languages: English and German.
- Resolving 1st and 2nd line service tickets
- Technically preparing the installations and supporting our field service engineers during installation and field service
- Keeping documentation and systems up-to-date regarding support
- Continuously improving internal and external service processes and providing insights to product management to improve the overall solution
- Supporting field service engineers on-site during busy periods
Qualifications
- A degree in ICT or related field
- Intermediate level with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
- You are solution-oriented and have a service-oriented attitude
- You enjoy interacting with different people and have strong communication skills
- You have solid knowledge of IT and networks
- You have experience with OnPrem as well as Cloud systems
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) can be requested
- You can speak and write English and German
- You hold a category B driving license and a willingness to travel
