Job Description
Desktop Support Specialist
Location: 1062 HK, Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Teams
- VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues
- Perform IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission).
- Support Active Directory (user account creation, password reset, group access).
- Provide support for software installations and upgrades.
- Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors when required.
- Maintain and update ticketing systems with accurate issue resolution details.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and user communication.
- 2-5 years of experience in EUC / Desktop Support / Service Desk role.
- Windows 10/11
- MS Office 365
- Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Active Directory
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
- Good communication skills in English (Dutch is Mandatory).
