Job Title: Lab Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We're looking for a Laboratory Automation Specialist with a strong background in lab science, automation, and regulatory compliance (GxP/GCLP). In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced automation solutions that streamline complex manual lab workflows. It's a multidisciplinary position that combines technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and lab operations-offering a unique opportunity to drive innovation in a regulated biotech environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Automation Development - Translate manual workflows into automated protocols using Tecan and other robotic platforms.
• System Integration - Configure and program Tecan, Hamilton, or Beckman systems; implement scheduling software; support high-throughput screening.
• Execution Support - Monitor automated experiments; troubleshoot systems at multiple levels.
• Maintenance & Performance - Maintain systems and ensure uptime in GxP-regulated BSL-2 labs.
• Documentation & Validation - Validate methods and maintain full compliance documentation (GxP/GCLP).
• Training & Communication - Train lab users and act as the key liaison across automation, lab, and compliance teams.
• Requirements:B.Sc. in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field + GLP/GCLP certifications
• 10+ years hands-on experience with Tecan and Beckman liquid handlers
• Skilled in method development, system integration, validation, and documentation
• Strong communication, project management, and troubleshooting skills

• Start Date: 1 July 2025
• Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)
