Technologist- QC Raw Materials

We are recruiting a Technologist - QC Raw Materials to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in Berkshire area for an initial 6 months. As the Technologist - QC Raw Materials, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials within a GMP manufacturing environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Technologist - QC Raw Materials will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Technologist - QC Raw Materials, you will disposition raw materials for their intended use and assist in maintaining quality records, including deviations, CAPAs, investigations, change controls, protocols, reports, and SOPs.

2. As the Technologist - QC Raw Materials, you will conduct testing of samples and report all results according to relevant procedures, ensuring compliance with GMP expectations. Critically assess results and report any concerns to QC management promptly.

3. As the Technologist - QC Raw Materials, you will approve results generated by other team members and ensure adherence to safety requirements relevant to tasks being performed.

4. As the Technologist - QC Raw Materials, you will train and support more junior staff members, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout the department. Identify, assess, and implement improvements in GMP compliance, safety, and efficiency.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Technologist - QC Raw Materials we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or similar discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within a GMP environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with chemical/biochemical techniques and methods, as well as data reporting.
