About this roleThis role is within Preqin, part of BlackRock. Preqin is revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients worldwide, complementing the Aladdin platform to deliver comprehensive investment solutions.
The Private Markets Data Engineering team at Aladdin is responsible for innovating how private markets data is acquired, managed, and distributed using the latest technologies.
We seek a Vice President-level Product Manager to lead the Master Data Management initiative for Private Markets. This role involves creating technologies that establish a universal registry of private markets, enhancing data consistency, quality, and transparency across workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a Master Data Management solution for Private Markets data in Aladdin.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate problems into detailed requirements.
- Identify major opportunities and develop a strategic roadmap.
- Collaborate with leadership to define strategic goals and delivery methods.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders for continuous product discovery and evolution.
- Understand stakeholder workflows to develop effective solutions.
- Track relevant metrics and use them to improve products.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, SMEs, and other Product Managers to align and execute on goals.
- Build iteratively, sharing feedback continuously.
- Mentor other Product Managers within the team.
- Experience in evolving technology product visions and leading requirements and design.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated with initiative and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Focus on precision and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to analyze datasets and derive insights for product development.
- Experience working with developers.
