Sophisticated frauds, involving grooming of targeted individuals, shows the fake recruiter asking the unsuspecting job seeker to take part in a fake job interview, either over the phone or via WhatsApp, and also sending fraudulent follow-up correspondence offering job positions.

Job overview To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the Plastic Surgery Minor Operations Team to participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment

Main duties of the job • Manage, direct and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of

Demonstrate and promote a patient centred style of clinical practice. Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care from admission to discharge.

Respond calmly to emergency situations, maintaining patient safety and seeking immediate support, and supporting the patient, family and other staff as required.

Develop skills to act as Ward Team Co-ordinator in rotation with other staff, participating in the allocation of workload and ensuring efficient bed management and effective patient care.

To demonstrate a commitment to professional development and maintain registration in line with NMC requirements.

Demonstrate a commitment to evidence based practice and clinical excellence. Using these skills works collegiately to promote innovation and work within the nursing team in the provision of an excellent standard of patient care in line with Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) values.

Person specification Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (part 1. 8. 12 or 15 of register depending on area of practice) or Operating Department Practitioner
