Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist in our Barcelona office. This is a position within a growing HR team, with a strong focus on payroll and personnel administration for the Portuguese subsidiary, as well as involvement in recruitment and general HR functions.


Responsibilities:


  • Full-cycle payroll management for Portugal.
  • Personnel administration: contracts, onboarding/offboarding, leave and absence management, and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Coordinate with the finance department on payroll-related costs and provisions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and labor regulations.
  • Participate in recruitment processes: job postings, CV screening, interviews, and coordination with hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding processes and follow-up with new hires.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits and insurance.



Requirements:


  • University degree in Labor Relations, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll and personnel administration.
  • Solid knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation.
  • Experience in recruitment processes.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver's license required.
