Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist in our Barcelona office. This is a position within a growing HR team, with a strong focus on payroll and personnel administration for the Portuguese subsidiary, as well as involvement in recruitment and general HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle payroll management for Portugal.
- Personnel administration: contracts, onboarding/offboarding, leave and absence management, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate with the finance department on payroll-related costs and provisions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and labor regulations.
- Participate in recruitment processes: job postings, CV screening, interviews, and coordination with hiring managers.
- Support onboarding processes and follow-up with new hires.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.
- Assist in managing employee benefits and insurance.
Requirements:
- University degree in Labor Relations, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll and personnel administration.
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation.
- Experience in recruitment processes.
- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver's license required.
