Software Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Leaning) | £50-90K | London (Remote-Friendly)

Harvey Nash have partnered with a fast-moving startup looking for a pragmatic, product-minded full-stack engineer with a Back End focus. You'll help shape their technical roadmap, solve real customer problems and build scalable systems that unlock the power of data and machine learning.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build Back End and Front End systems (React, Node, TypeScript)
• Plan data schemas to support long-term ML pipelines
• Own systems in production, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Collaborate across product, ops, and engineering to deliver impactful features
• Contribute product ideas and help shape our evolving platform

What They're Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering
• Strong Back End skills, system design, and REST API development
• Product mindset, you care about solving customer problems
• Pragmatic approach to building resilient, scalable systems
• Bonus: experience with recommendation engines or event-based systems

Perks: £50-90K salary
