SRG is collaborating with a leading contract research organisation in the crop protection sector. Located in the Portsmouth area, they are expanding their formulation team. This role is suitable for candidates with strong formulation experience in the chemicals industry, preferably within agrochemicals, though applications from related fields such as household products, biocides, surfactants, and coatings are also welcome.

Role Responsibilities

1. Researching new formulations for chemicals, biopesticides, and biostimulants
2. Analyzing and interpreting data from formulation experiments to develop innovative technologies
3. Using advanced chemical and biotechnological equipment for evaluating crop protection formulations and stability tests
4. Collaborating with global clients to resolve formulation challenges
5. Maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations within a GLP-compliant laboratory

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field; a PhD is advantageous but not essential
• Significant recent experience in chemical formulation; crop protection experience is preferred
• Proven ability to solve complex formulation problems
• Willingness to travel or relocate to the South Coast, Hampshire area
• Full right to work in the UK
