Shift: Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm
Location: Remote-based with flexibility required for business needs, including one week on-site for training & induction and Spec team days

About the RoleThis role is based at our Bakkavor Meals site in Park Royal - West London, which includes 3 factories and 1 distribution centre. The factories produce chilled ready meals, houmous dips, deli products & savoury accompaniments, employing over 2,000 staff.
Key Responsibilities- Complete finished product specifications to meet the critical path and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and first-time right delivery.
- Review and verify finished product artwork checks to ensure compliance with the critical path.
- Maintain and update retailer online systems and ensure the accuracy of finished product specifications and site details.
- Manage customer interfaces professionally and promptly, contributing to customer audits and visits.
- Conduct audits as part of the internal audit team.
- Input and administer data related to customer complaints, KPI reports, and analytical data to support the technical team.
- Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System through project administration and completion.
- Manage the nutritional verification schedule and perform general office duties such as filing and archiving.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Technical Services Team.
- Previous experience as a Specifications Technologist or in a similar role, including specification writing.
- Food Science graduates interested in Nutrition and Product Specifications are encouraged to apply.
- Confident and articulate communicator.
- Excellent computer skills and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
