Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Recovery & Data Protection Consultant to design, implement, and optimise solutions that protect critical data and ensure rapid, reliable recovery from cyber incidents. The role focuses on building cyber resilience strategies, including secure backups, isolated recovery environments, and ransomware protection.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data protection and cyber recovery solutions, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
• Build and deploy cyber recovery vaults with air-gapped and immutable architectures.
• Conduct cyber recovery assessments, readiness workshops, and recovery testing exercises.
• Integrate analytics tools to detect data corruption and ensure clean recovery.
• Advise on best practices for backup, retention, security, and compliance.
• Optimise data protection environments across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design and customer presentations.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of cyber recovery concepts, including ransomware resilience.
• Understanding of air-gapped architectures, immutable storage, and cyber vault design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Strong solution design and implementation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• experience with CyberSense or analytics-based threat detection tools.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, GDPR).
• experience with automation and orchestration tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• experience working with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams.
