Exclusive Vacancy Imperium Commodity Search is exclusively covering a new to market opportunity for an Experienced Bunker / Marine Fuels Trader to join an International Supplier and Trading house on their global expansion project over 2024 into 2025. With a strong existing presence across global ports including Physical Supply operations in key geographies supported by a global trading division, the group are continuing their structured growth and investments within the sector.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Trading Marine Fuels / Bunkers globally with a focus on building a profitable book of business across the EMEA region.
  • Responsible for promoting the company's physical locations across Europe, Middle East and Africa handling Sales and supply enquiries.
  • Sourcing Marine Fuels, Bunkers, MGO, LSFO, Fuel Oil, Lubricants for shipowners, Charterers, Operators etc.
  • Provide efficient and flexible solutions for clients within the Marine Fuel / Lubricants market for their Bunker / Marine fuel requirements.
  • Managing the full trade cycle from initial enquiry through to Physical delivery of the Bunkers, ensuring all documentation, operations and financing are executed timely and efficiently through the relevant departments.
  • Negotiate Contract and spot trades and purchases of Marine fuel / Gas oil / Bunkers / Lubricants.
  • Identify new opportunities for the company to win new business / enquiries, strengthen supply relations within certain ports whilst promoting the groups' physical locations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years' experience within a Physical Supplier / Back-to-Back trading house within the Bunker sector.
  • Experience trading physical Marine Fuels / Bunkers/ LSFO/ MGO/ Fuel Oil etc. either in a B2B, Customer or Supply role.
  • An established network across the EMEA region, Knowledge of key market participants (Customers / Suppliers) across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
  • Knowledge of Marine fuel procurement, purchasing processes, hedging tools, derivatives, and documentations to ensure quality and price efficiency.
  • Experience building and managing a profitable portfolio of business within the Bunker / Marine Fuels or Lubricants sector.
  • Located in the UK or willing to relocate with regular travel to company offices globally.
