About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive educational setting based in Cranleigh, Dunsfold Aerodrome. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
• Support pupils with EHCPs, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
• Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, etc.)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
