SCHOOL CLEANER Edinburgh Academy Senior School, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5BL Christmas & New Year Off - Every Year Friendly School Environment - Stable, permanent, year-Round Work

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-8:00pm

Additional hours: Occasional weekend work depending on business needs

Contract options:

• 52 weeks (includes non-term time)
• 37 weeks (term time only - school holidays off)

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.

What You'll Do

• Clean classrooms, corridors, and shared school spaces to a high standard
• Use cleaning equipment safely (full training provided)
• Follow daily cleaning routines and schedules
• Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

What you'll bring:

• Reliable, positive, and proud of your work
• A team player who can also work independently
• Good attention to detail
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
