Role Overview

Kirkby High School is looking to appoint a highly motivated receptionist with strong organisational and communication skills to join our team. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors so a professional approach and excellent customer service are essential for this role. The person appointed will also provide routine general clerical and administrative support to the school.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Relevant experience or skills
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use a range of technology, good ICT skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Will undertake first aid training
  • Passion for supporting education
  • Energy and enthusiasm for the role
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a busy educational environment
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to relate to young people
