Client Care - Receptionist - Fixed Term Contract

Highcliff Veterinary Practice, Hadleigh, Ipswich, East of England

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Highcliff Vets on a full time, fixed term contract basis for approximately 12 months.

We are an award winning practice, proudly holding Gold ISFM accreditation (Brantham) and Silver ISFM accreditation (Hadleigh), a Dog Friendly Award from Dogs Trust, and RCVS Accredited Small Animal General Practice status. Our commitment to delivering gold standard care for every patient runs through everything we do.

Highcliff is a long established practice, proudly serving our local community for over 100 years. We're deeply connected to local life supporting the Greyhound Trust and local cat rescue charities, taking part in Hadleigh and Brantham country shows, and engaging with local schools through our STEM ambassador, who regularly visits school fairs to inspire future generations of veterinary professionals.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rota basis between the hours of 08 00. The rota includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8am-1:30pm).
