We're a collaborative and diverse engineering team working in the fast-paced world of trading risk management. Over the past few years, we've been transforming outdated, spreadsheet-driven risk processes into reliable, scalable software solutions deployed on a modern internal cloud platform.

Our team includes software developers, QA specialists, Python experts, and business analysts. We believe in taking ownership, continuous learning, and working together to build systems that are clean, stable, and efficient. We follow Scrum principles and meet in person once a week to connect, collaborate, and make decisions as a team.

We're now looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer with a strong interest in support and maintenance engineering, not just greenfield development. Your role will be essential in ensuring our risk tools run smoothly in production and are always ready to support the business.

What You'll Do

You'll focus on production support and system reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Python-based applications
• Debugging logs and analyzing production behavior
• Supporting and maintaining APIs, Kafka pipelines, and internal integrations
• Building lightweight tools and dashboards for monitoring and diagnostics
• Working with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure for issue triage and resolution
• Collaborating closely with experienced engineers and a business analyst to solve client-reported issues
• Participating in agile practices such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Learning the internal container platform and contributing to overall system stability

Who You Are

You are someone who enjoys investigating problems, improving system reliability, and working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Must-haves:

• 2-5 years of experience in software development or production support roles
• Comfortable reading and debugging Python code
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and distributed systems
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and logging/monitoring tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Kafka or message-driven architectures
• Previous exposure to incident response or production support workflows
