To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have a vacancy for a Engineer - Electronic Devices based at our offices in Slough.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Proactive individual to ensure the continuity of Karl Storz Service requirements to our customers and operational staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver a high standard of after-sales service by responding to customer queries and providing accurate product and service information to both customers and internal teams.
  • Accurately create and process Sales Orders and Cost Estimates, ensuring timely delivery to customers and correct entry into the ERP and Salesforce systems.
  • Manage customer orders from entry to completion, including contract reviews, data updates in Salesforce, and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee service inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained and purchase orders are raised for timely replenishment.
  • Regularly communicate with KARL STORZ Germany (KST) to obtain updates on product availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support inventory control by participating in stock counts and helping to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Investigate and resolve service-related customer complaints efficiently, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain organised records and ensure all documentation is archived in line with company policies.
  • Follow all relevant procedures and quality standards, including ISO13485, ISO14001, and Medical Device Regulations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement by completing all required training and Learning Management System (LMS) modules on time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be educated to a good standard with GCSE (grade C or above) in at least English and Math's (or equivalent) or have at least 2 years' proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an ISO 13485 , 14001 and MDR regulated environment is desirable.

  • IT Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office at a proficient level.
  • Good English in verbal and written communication skills
  • Polite and courteous manner regardless of the situation
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and multi task
  • Risk awareness and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under own initiative.
  • IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook

About the package:

Job Types: Full time

Pay: £28,000 - £30,000 (dependant on experience) per year.
