Network Security Engineer

About the Role:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Security Engineer. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network and security configurations, identifying and analyzing network and security issues, and ensuring the ongoing reliability, security, and performance of Port-IT's customers network infrastructure. This role will be primarily located in Rhoon, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications & Personal Skills:

• Network Administration, Network Security, and Network Engineering skills
• Cybersecurity and Information Security knowledge
• Experience configuring and implementing network security devices such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, etc.
• Experience with network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Secondary vocational degree (MBO) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications related to cybersecurity and networking, such as Fortinet (NSE), WatchGuard, CCNA, CCNP, Security+, CISSP, etc., are a plus.
