Personal Assistant required for 21 year old male in the Trimdon area

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible - more available during holidays)

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour (employed) or up to £16.50 per hour (self-employed)

Start: Immediate start available

We are looking for a fun, reliable, and genuinely caring Personal Assistant to support a friendly, outgoing young man with a big heart and a love for life.

This isn't "just a job" , we're looking for someone who brings energy, commitment and a real passion for care. If you're someone who goes the extra mile, you'll fit right in.

He is a sociable and active young man who already enjoys a range of activities including the gym, hydro sessions, classes, and community outings. He especially enjoys football - and if you happen to support Sunderland, that might just give you a slight advantage.

Main Duties

• Supporting outings and trips in the local community.
• Sourcing and planning inclusive activities and experiences.
• Encouraging independence at home.
• Light household duties.
• Supporting with meal preparation and cooking.
• Helping him access social, leisure, and community opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds but you must be friendly, caring, with an outgoing, positive personality.
• Reliable and consistent - this is essential.
• A "can-do" attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Someone who can plan, organise, and think creatively.
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain - having one already is an advantage).

The role offers flexibility, but reliability is key. Some hours may include:

• Weekend work
• Holiday cover (additional hours available)
• Occasional respite support
• Potential overnight stays or trips (sometimes with family)

Flexibility is highly valued as the role can vary depending on activities and opportunities.
