Job Description

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years of experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.


We are currently looking for a (On-shore Wind) Project Manager to give support to our projects globally based in Madrid.


What will you help with?


Manage and coordinate wind projects from commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance, legal, and construction) and external stakeholders and EPC to ensure smooth project progression.

Lead the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, proactively identifying issues and developing mitigation strategies.

Supervise the tendering and contracting process, including EPC, turbine supply, and service agreements.

Ensure projects comply with national and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Support grid integration planning, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.


Who you are:


Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale wind energy projects.

Excellent spoken and written Spanish and English (will be tested).

Strong knowledge of project development processes, permitting, and renewable energy regulations in Spain.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with EPC contracts, turbine supply agreements, and grid connection processes.

Willingness to travel and visit project sites when required.
