Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to take ownership of impactful projects in the automotive industry? We're seeking multiple engineers with different expertise areas to join diverse projects. Join us and contribute to cutting-edge developments across vehicle cooling, thermal management, noise encapsulation, high-voltage fan design, valve systems, and more for next-generation commercial vehicles.
What you'll be doing as a Mechanical Engineer:
- Taking ownership of component design and development projects in the commercial vehicle sector
- Developing concepts and layouts with 3D modeling and drawings
- Collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Creating and managing technical documentation such as TRS and TPRS
- Applying DFSS methodologies (DFMEA, HDA, reliability, safety reviews)
- Supporting purchasing and RFI processes
Your specific role will align with your experience - here are some of the key project areas you might support:
Transmission Cooling: Lead the development of cooling systems for transmissions including coolant pipes and flexible mountings, ensuring manufacturability and assembly alignment.
Engine Encapsulation: Develop improved noise encapsulation solutions to reduce exterior and interior noise, including concept layouts and supplier specification alignment.
️ Cooling Installation & Fan: Design the engine cooling installation with coolant and air lines, including fan integration and routing of hoses to support vehicle performance.
Thermal Management Module & Heat Exchanger: Drive development of liquid-liquid thermal management modules and heat exchangers for electric and hybrid vehicles in a global development context.
High Voltage (HV) Fan: Lead the design and packaging of high voltage cooling fans for electrified vehicles, coordinating technical requirements globally.
Multivalve / Valve Arrays / Heat Pump Valve: Develop complex valve systems for thermal management in BEV and PHEV platforms, ensuring reliability and manufacturability.
What you need to be successful as a Mechanical Engineer:
- 3+ years Mechanical or Automotive Engineering experience
- Proficiency in NX and TeamCenter CAD/PLM tools
- Solid experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies, including DFMEA, Reliability Validation, and Safety Design Reviews
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, purchasing, and cross-functional teams
- English proficiency for working in an international environment
- Experience with vehicle thermal and/or acoustic systems and mechatronics is a plus
