Maintenance Engineer

Pay Rate: £48,348.07 (plus an additional 15% night shift premium)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Mostly Monday-Friday, with 2 in 6 weekends (Saturday or Sunday) during peak season. Includes early, late, and night shifts. 1 in 6 nights during peak season.

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on food production machinery.
2. Maintaining and complying with Health & Safety standards to minimize risks, ensuring safety is a priority.
3. Maintaining new automated packaging machinery, with further investments and projects planned for the site.
4. Planning and reviewing maintenance schedules for content and correctness, in accordance with condition monitoring approaches.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• An NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
• Experience in FMCG is essential.
• Computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office and Excel.
