Laboratory Specialist

An international biopharmaceutical company is seeking an Interim QC Scientist to support routine testing and GMP-compliant activities for Cell and Gene therapy products. This hands-on role will involve analytical and microbiological testing, method support, and instrument maintenance within a fast-paced QC environment.

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Location: Leiden, The Netherlands

Duration: 6 months (extension highly likely)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of products and incoming goods using Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR-based methods.
• Support method validation, transfers, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure GMP-compliant practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in QC or analytical testing.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry, PCR, and Cell-Based Assays.
• Familiarity with GMP environments.
• Flexible mindset and full on-site availability.
