Graduate/Junior Python - Django Developer

Location - Hybrid working, Bristol 1 day a week

Duration - 8 months with a view to go perm afterwards

Rate - £200 - £250 daily (inside IR35)

My government client is looking for a motivated and technically capable graduate to join our senior development team in building a modern, scalable web application. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, and contribute to the full software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of web applications using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Learn and apply best practices in software engineering and DevOps.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with Django is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
