Job Title: Payments Admin Assistant
Duration: 7 months, extensions likely
Location: London/Hybrid (two to three days per week in the office requirement)
Salary: £160 per day PAYE

Are you ready to take your career in banking to the next level? Our client is looking for a dedicated Payments Admin Assistant to join their Customer Services Team! If you are passionate about delivering top-notch service and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- As a Payments Admin Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive first-class service while handling various payment processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Payment Investigations: Action all payment investigations within 24 hours, keeping both internal and external customers informed.
- SWIFT Messaging Management: Daily management of the SAA Messaging database, allocating incoming SWIFT messages to the appropriate teams.
- SEPA Direct Debits: Process all SEPA Direct Debits in line with industry deadlines.
- BACS Processing: Daily processing of BACS products, managing exception reports and executing recalls and unpaid items promptly.
- Standing Orders: Ensure timely processing of new, amendment, and cancellation requests.
- Customer Reconciliation: Handle daily processing of Customer Service-related reconciliation items, resolving outstanding issues efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the team to meet objectives and tackle ad hoc tasks.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual with a knack for excellent communication and analytical skills. If you have:
- A minimum of GCSE qualifications (A Level is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures rigorously
- A proactive attitude towards improving processes
