Functional Assessor (WCA)

Location: Frimley

Salary: £40,000 £42,000 (rising by £1,000 at 6 & 12 months)

Post: Nurses, OTs, Physios

Employment: Full Time Only & Hybrid

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-5

Become a Functional Assessor, supporting individuals applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) or PIP on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Your Role

• Assess claimants functional ability/work related activities and daily activities via phone and face to face appointments.
• Review medical evidence and compile detailed reports for the DWP.
• Use your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed.

Essential Criteria

• Registered Nurse, OT, Paramedic, Physio.
• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• NMC/HCPC registered.
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
• Confident communicator and report writer - IT literate.
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with complex health conditions.
