Are you looking for a new challenge in the Not For Profit sector in a newly created role?

My client has created this new role as Finance Business Partner due to a recent restructure and growth within the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of the department, the FBP will be responsible for;

  • Provide financial insights to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage and oversee treasury functions, ensuring efficient cash flow and investment management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyse performance.
  • Prepare and present detailed management reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive financial efficiency and value for money.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks within business operations.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience gained in a similar role/sized organisation
  • Good Management Accounting skills
  • Cashflow management experience.
  • Ideally experience in financial planning, analysis, and treasury management.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Commitment to working within the not-for-profit sector

Job Offer

  • Salary of £52,108 per annum.
  • Excellent pension paying up to 12% employers contributions.
  • 25 days annual leave rising to 30 after 3 years
