This Role: Estate Coordinator


Location: 840 OLD KENT ROAD, LONDON, SE15 1NQ


Salary: £28,393 based on a 37.5hr working week

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our Housing Team in managing a brand-new building which consists of two residential towers. The role may be similar to positions such as concierge, caretaker, fire warden, facilities person, or security guard. You will be the face of MTVH on a day-to-day basis, providing support to our diverse customer base, while ensuring that our internal and external service providers fulfill their duties to a high standard within the building. You will work alongside our Local Housing Managers responsible for tenants and homeowners.

Duties:
  1. Provide a high-quality estate management service, ensuring outstanding customer service across tenures including leaseholders, shared owners, and tenants.
  2. Act as the accountable Officer, delivering an efficient, coordinated, customer-focused service that meets local needs and maintains high standards.
  3. Proactively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders to coordinate services and maximize customer satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • A motivated individual who wants to make a difference in the community, is enthusiastic, customer-focused, good at problem-solving, and enjoys helping people. You should be confident in resolving conflicts, making difficult decisions using your initiative, and driving change.
  • Experience dealing with customers from diverse backgrounds, especially those with complex or challenging needs.
  • Experience in social housing is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills with attention to detail and accuracy in writing, reporting, and numeracy.
  • Ability to plan your day efficiently, be organized, and have a proactive approach to finding solutions, thriving in collaborative environments.
  • This role operates within office hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required due to the role's nature.
  • Note: This is a car-free development. Successful applicants will be able to use public transport and be on-site during fixed times daily.

To ensure safety and high-quality service, a Basic level background check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be completed upon job offer and renewed every three years.
