As a Solution Consultant you will support sales at important customer pursuits by providing specific solution expertise in a defined geographical area. You will provide presales services to both internal and external customers with a focus on the deployment of Plex offerings. You will ensure a thoughtful handover to our delivery organization or system integrators to help bring engagements to successful closure.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in account planning and sales strategy focused on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  • Advise Technology Consultants and the sales team on proposal generation.
  • Analyse competitors' products and define our differentiators as part of a specific solution.
  • Respond to RFIs and RFQs.
  • Configure complex product and services solutions, including contractual terms, that meet customers' mid to long term needs.
  • Use domain expertise to advise internal partners and customers on our products, solutions and services.
  • Present qualitative and quantitative value of proposed solutions, creating custom presentations and documents that state customer business problems and Rockwell solutions and benefits.
  • Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts.
  • Build a network of executives within the business sector to obtain market intelligence on industry trends and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Prepare technical materials, presentations and tools to improve sales team effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical field.
  • Knowledge in one or more manufacturing applications such as MES, QMS, and Cloud Technology.
  • Experience in Enterprise Software, QMS, or Pre Sales preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Capability to travel 30% of the time to customers (potentially more during peak periods).
  • Experience on Implementation Projects and OT level is considered an added value.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of industry strategies.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in MES, QMS and manufacturing processes.
  • Software industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
  • Experience with technical presentations and collaborative engagement with both technical and business audiences.
