Energy Transition Advice Officer

Consumer Council for Northern Ireland

Salary: £30,458 - £31,097

Location: Belfast

The role

The Consumer Council is recruiting for two Energy Transition Advice Officers to join our new Energy Transition Team.

We're looking for individuals experienced in outreach and engagement activities with the drive to empower consumers through education and advice. People who are confident and effective communicators, skilled in supporting the delivery of deliberative research with diverse audiences while providing support to consumers.

If you share our passion for championing consumers, this is an exciting opportunity to join our new energy transition team shaping how consumer insight informs Northern Ireland's energy transition.

Eligibility criteria

You will need proven experience of:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of community outreach, engagement activities, workshops, presentations or information sessions to consumers, communities and/or stakeholder groups.
  • Providing advice, guidance or information to consumers, service users and/or members of the public, including communicating complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Building good working relationships to deliver positive outcomes for consumers, service users and/or businesses.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with recent experience of collecting and communicating information effectively.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £30,458 - £31,097
