£26,403 - £28,142 per annum
37 hours per week (3 week rota)

Temporary role for up to 3 years

We are looking for a self motivated, enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills to contribute positively to our service and the wider community. As part of the Leisure Facilities Team at North Warwickshire Borough Council, you will work as a member of the Coleshill Leisure Centre Team, playing a crucial role in the development of this busy and constantly progressing leisure facility.

Responsibilities

Your key tasks will include programme development, customer care, staff management, health and safety management and managing the day-to-day operations of the centre.

Requirements

• Confidence in managing diverse situations
• Supervision experience
• Full First Aid certificate
• Understanding of the leisure industry and principles of leisure operations (advantage)
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Level 2 Gym Instructors qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work toward it within six months

The position is based on a 37 hour working week and involves shift work including evenings and weekends.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check and receipt of an Enhanced Disclosure.
