Job Summary

Domestic Assistant - Worthing Hospital - University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

Contract: Permanent, Grade Band 2.

Hours: Full time or part time, 37.5 hours per week. Working varied Monday to Sunday.

Salary: £25,272 per annum (pro rata).

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of clinical wards and departments.
• Provide comprehensive cleaning services within the Facilities Department.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and National Cleaning Standards 2021.
• Perform any additional duties within the scope of the post.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information per Trust policy.
• Assist with visitor guidance and hospitality.

Requirements and Skills

• Clear verbal and written communication, good command of spoken English.
• Experience in front line or customer service environment.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
