6-12 month initial contract - hybrid in Zurich

A client of Amass Technology are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer/Cloud Architect with deep hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure to lead a high-impact initiative. Ideal candidates thrive in complex environments, challenge the status quo, and bring both technical depth and strategic vision.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure infrastructure with focus on AKS, DMZ, Firewalls, and Swiss regulatory constraints.
- Lead migration from Istio to Helm-based deployments.
- Audit and optimize Terraform IaC for scalability and compliance.
- Advise on networking, security, and on-prem/cloud integration.
- Act as a DevSecOps consultant for secure deployment practices.
- Coach teams on VMs, policies, pipelines, and automation.

Must Haves:
- Proven experience with large-scale Azure environments.
- Deep knowledge of AKS, Terraform, Istio, CI/CD, and cloud security.
- Strong ability to review code, assess architecture, and drive improvements.

Logistics:
- Hybrid in Zurich
- Paying up 115-120 CHF p/h
- Long term project
