About the Role

As our Chief Technology Officer, you will define and execute the technology strategy that underpins our brokerage platform. You'll lead, mentor and scale our engineering organization-ensuring top-tier security, reliability and innovation in a heavily regulated environment. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with Compliance, Product and Operations to steer our next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Culture: Build, inspire and coach high-performing, cross-functional tech teams; champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Security & Compliance: Oversee platform security, data integrity and regulatory compliance (including DORA and other EU frameworks).
• Technology Strategy: Design and implement a forward-looking brokerage tech roadmap, aligned to business goals and customer needs.
• Platform Reliability: Ensure the scalability, availability and performance of our trading systems and infrastructure.
• Budget & Resource Management: Own the technology budget; optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI.
• Innovation & Trends: Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices; evaluate and integrate new tools to maintain competitive advantage.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strong relationships with internal leadership, external partners, vendors and regulators.

What You Bring

• Proven Leadership: 7+ years in senior technology roles (CTO, VP of Engineering or similar), ideally within crypto or digital brokerage.
• Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into scalable tech solutions.
• Regulatory Acumen: Hands-on experience with financial regulations and security standards in Europe.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communicator, able to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track Record: History of successful project delivery in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Collaborative Spirit: Skilled at building consensus and motivating cross-disciplinary teams.
