Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Bid Manager through to Lead Asbestos Bid Manager

Profile

Our client is a well established, multi discipline environmental consultancy, holding a national presence, that works hard to provide their clients with high quality services. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Asbestos Bid Manager based in and around the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the asbestos industry, overseeing a team of bid writers, and producing PQQs and tender returns.

Applications will be considered from: Edinburgh, Livingstone, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Sterling, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Lanark.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry working in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
• Hands on experience within the asbestos industry would be beneficial to the role.
• Must be well versed within relevant Health and Safety legislation.
• Must have excellent organisational skills.
• Holding the P402, P403, P404 qualifications would be beneficial to the role.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

The Role

• Ensuring that the bid process is running efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring that the bid team acre carrying out work effectively.
• Managing bid input from stakeholders, sales, marketing, finance, technical teams and legal.
• Undertaking completion of written proposals.
• Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients.
• Managing various sites simultaneously and ensuring that all work is up to date.
