Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Consultant.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £39k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Dual qualified Surveyor / Analyst, through to Asbestos Consultant.

A well-respected UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who offer the full range of asbestos testing and inspection services are currently recruiting for an experience Asbestos Consultant to join their expanding team. You will be working on Commercial and Industrial contracts across the South East and Home Counties region, undertaking asbestos surveying and air monitoring duties, as well as, liaising with clients and providing excellent technical and consultancy advice / support where needed. The role would suit those looking to move away from domestic sites and focus their skills on large scale complex contracts.

Experience & Qualifications
  • BOHS P402, P403, P404 (Minimum).
  • Experience working hands on as a dual skilled surveyor / analyst would be beneficial.
  • Will be well versed in relevant Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Well-mannered and professional always.
  • Confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
  • Able to communicate efficiently.
The Role
  • Carrying out the full range of Air monitoring services e.g., smoke background, leak, and re-occupation.
  • Personal air monitoring and 4 Stage clearances.
  • Carrying out visual reinspection upon completion of work.
  • Management, demolition, and refurbishments across Industrial and Commercial sites.
  • Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislations.
  • Liaising with clients and attending meetings in line with client / company needs.
  • Ensuring relevant registers are kept up to date, advising on remediation / removal.
  • Working on both short- and long-term removal projects.
  • Supervising LARC's on site.
  • Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical / consultancy advice.
