Zscaler Engineer - Secure Access Deployment Specialist

We're looking for a talented Zscaler Engineer to lead the secure rollout of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) within our clients' existing Zscaler environment.

3-month contract, based in London (Hybrid), Inside IR35

This role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across diverse technical teams and external partners to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
ZPA Deployment
Drive the implementation of Zscaler Private Access to enable secure, remote access to corporate resources.
Monitoring & Diagnostics
Leverage
Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)
for performance visibility, issue detection, and resolution across ZPA environments.
Technical Guidance
Support internal teams, including operations and service desk, with expert-level troubleshooting and solution design.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation (eg, KB articles, runbooks) to support ongoing operations and team enablement.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with infrastructure, security, identity, and application teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with Zscaler technologies: ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX.
Strong grasp of networking protocols, security principles, and enterprise connectivity.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills-able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable Skills
Zscaler certifications (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
Familiarity with cloud security architectures and services.
Understanding of ITIL frameworks (incident, change, problem management).
Experience with identity and access management systems (eg, Azure AD, SAML, SCIM).
