Elevate Beyond is recruiting Youth Workers to support specialist SEMH schools, Alternative Provision academies, PRUs and community-based programmes across Greater Manchester.
This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience while developing specialist skills that are increasingly sought after across education, youth justice, social care and safeguarding.
About the role You'll work with young people aged 11-25 who may be experiencing:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- School exclusion
- Youth justice involvement
- Trauma and adverse childhood experiences
- Barriers to education, employment or training Through mentoring, outreach and relationship-based support, you'll help young people re-engage with education, develop confidence and work towards positive futures.

- Temporary to permanent opportunities Pay £14-16 per hour £105-120 per day Locations Roles are available across Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan.

Whether you've worked in community youth services, outreach, mentoring, charities, sports development or Alternative Provision, we're looking for people who can build trust, remain consistent and genuinely care about helping young people succeed.
JNC qualifications are welcomed, but your values and experience matter just as much.
- Minimum one year's relevant youth work or SEMH experience
- Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List
- DBS Update Service registration
- Level 2 Safeguarding
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK Experience in mentoring, outreach or violence reduction programmes would be highly advantageous.
