Connex Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with young learners and wants to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children's education. The school is open to both full time and part time applicants.

The Role

You will:

• Teach a Year 1 class and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Inspire children to develop confidence and a love of learning

We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management skills
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to provide two professional references, including your most recent employer
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
