Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Loading and unloading of machines through TCH Lincoln
- Ensuring depot cleanliness standards are maintained and improve d w here possible
- Inspecting machines on despatch and receipt to ensure paperwork is correct
- Assist with warranty parts returns
- C ontrol goods inwards and outwards
- C ontrol all contract ors in line with Health and Safety procedures
- Participate in any other company related activity as required
- To attend any training deemed relevant as necessary experience fo r the position
- To keep Yard / Parts department clean and tidy
- To maintain the principle that everything has a place and everything should be in its place
- The yard is to be kept free from any litter/clutter at all ti mes. Whilst this is everyone's responsibility, it is a major function of this role to maintain cleanliness standards and promot e them to others
- Aid organisation within the yard, workshop and parts department under the initial guidance/agreement of the Se r vice Manager.
- Ensure no visitors (drivers, customers or other) are left unattended within the yard/workshop. All visitors must have justification/authorisatio n for being within our premises
- Any collection/deliveries of machines and/or attachments must hav e legitimate supporting paperwork. Any suspicion of theft or unauthorised handling of goods which are the pro perty of T C Harrison JCB must be brought to the attention of the Service manag er or another manager within T C Harrison JCB
- To ensure all activi tie s are undertaken in a safe manner and in line wi th health & safety requirements
- To assist other employ ees of T C Harrison JCB where necessary and where no conflict of interest occurs
- T o maintain a professional courteous attitude at all times and support the team spirit, not only within the Aftermarket, but within the whole company.
