Job Description

The Service is currently recruiting for a Watch Manager - Data Team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Applications are invited from those interested as either a lateral move or a promotion opportunity. This role is conditioned to the Day Duty System.

From 1 April 2024, development rates of pay will be introduced for new individuals moving into development or acting-up roles, as set out by the National Joint Council.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Crew Managers and Watch Managers. Minimum criteria include:

  • If you are On-Call and have not already undertaken the Leading Others Skills Build, it will be required as part of the selection process.
  • Good leadership skills
  • No formal improvement actions or live disciplinary sanctions against you

This opportunity is available as a secondment for those currently employed under Wholetime Grey Book terms and conditions.
