UX Designer

UX Designer - Apeldoorn - ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a UX Designer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Apeldoorn.

As a UX Designer, your main tasks will include:

• Design user-centered solutions for smart appliances, mobile apps, web interfaces, and digital ecosystems
• Translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, industrial design, and QA
• Ensure consistency and usability across different platforms and device types
• Conduct or support user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Apply design standards and contribute to evolving design systems and guidelines
• Stay informed about UX trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in consumer electronics

Your Profile

• 3-4 years of experience in UX design, preferably in consumer electronics or hardware-integrated digital products
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process and interaction design skills
• Basic understanding of hardware constraints and how they influence user experience
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
