Mulesoft Engineer - Rotterdam - ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Mulesoft Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Rotterdam.

As a Mulesoft Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Assist with MuleSoft migrations, especially from v3 to v4.
• Update and test existing APIs and integration flows.
• Support development using MuleSoft and other languages like Java or C#.
• Help troubleshoot and document integration issues.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth delivery of migration tasks.

Your Profile

• Fluency in Dutch is required for this position
• Freelancer is welcomed
• 3 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft, ideally including some work on version upgrades (v3 to v4 is a big plus)
• Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API design, and integration flows
• Some general programming experience in Java, C#, or another backend language
• Comfortable with basic debugging, testing, and API tools (e.g., Postman)
• Able to follow migration plans and adapt existing code/integrations
