At EY, our highly talented and motivated Digital Assurance and Quality Engineering team specializes in Data Transformation and Testing Services for our clients. We offer a comprehensive range of functional testing services, including requirements-based testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing. Through agile QA and testing practices, we enable faster time-to-market, flexibility, and adaptability to changing requirements, along with automation and continuous testing to drive improved efficiencies. Our expertise extends to technical testing services such as test automation, API and microservices testing, mobile device testing, performance testing, and ETL testing, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

As a Senior Test Consultant, you will help our clients solve a wide range of challenges-from requirement collection to managing large and complex transformation programmes. You will support the development and strengthening of client relationships, particularly within the Financial Services industry, guiding them through complex finance issues.

Your key responsibilities

Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations overcome complex business challenges. Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the delivery of IT projects through Agile, Scrum/Kanban, or traditional Waterfall methodologies, as required, applying domain knowledge and sector experience.
• Participating in presentations and proposals for medium to highly complex projects.
• Creating high-quality work products and acting as a subject matter resource on services, shaping solutions for client problems.
• Understanding all service offerings and actively identifying opportunities to better serve clients.
• Maintaining focus so projects deliver on key priorities and dependencies.
• Contributing to proposals and client presentations for complex IT delivery projects requiring disciplined QA and testing expertise.
• Owning self-development, maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills.
• Actively contributing to EY's Quality Assurance & Testing Community of Practice.
• Building meaningful external and internal relationships to serve clients across service lines.
• Developing junior team members through supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
• Understanding and following workplace policies and procedures.

Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A strong academic record, including a third level degree, preferably in a business or IT related discipline, from a recognised institution.
• QA accreditation such as ISTQB Foundation or a comparable accreditation.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a client-facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company, involving large-scale complex change/transformation programmes or systems integration, or 4 years of such experience.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps and traditional environments.
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing, including manual testing and/or test automation.
• Experience creating test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with testing tools and issue tracking tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting and end-to-end defect management.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience in one or more technology areas such as ERP, CRM, Digital Workplace, CX, Cloud Migration, integrations, Data & Analytics, RPA, Emerging Tech, IoT, or Blockchain.
• A structured approach to problem solving, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to work independently while managing workload and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, tailoring communication to diverse audiences.

• The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $XXX per hour.
