UI Engineer Europe Fully Remote

What we are looking for

As a UI Engineer, you will work closely with Design, Animation, and Audio to develop, write, implement, and debug code for the UI on our unannounced Project.

What we will do together

• Collaborate with other disciplines (art, design, sound) in implementing the UI.
• Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Participate in the design of products and perform some testing activities.
• Adhere to the project's coding standards.
• Research coding techniques and algorithms to stay current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry.
• Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks.

What you will bring

• Experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles.
• Experience using industry-standard engines such as Unity and UE5.
• A keen analytical mind with strong problem solving skills.
• Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
• Strong math skills.
• Well versed in games and able to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self motivated, with a strong work ethic, and able to work independently.
• Creativity in problem solving and the ability to think outside established solutions.
• Keen interest in games.
