Treasurer

Overview

The Green Cell Project is a new UK charity that combines commercial horticulture with significant social impact in UK prisons. We run on a business-like model: generating income through the sale of flowers, while reinvesting profits into training and employment opportunities for people in prison & after release. Our primary aims and objectives are to reduce re-offending, improve prisoners' mental health and provide hope and a future to people who've been involved in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Treasurer on the founding trustee board (voluntary)
• Attend quarterly board meetings (remote participation possible)

Qualifications

• Background in finance, accountancy, or business
• Desire to apply expertise to measurable social impact
