Our client is looking for a dedicated Translator I/Speech and Language Annotator to provide top-notch translation services that support business operations and enhance customer-facing content. Contract Details:

• Position: Translator/Speech and Language Annotator
• Contract Length: 9 months
• Desired Start Date: ASAP
• Hours per Week: 40
• Hourly Rate: 19.70 Euro

Your Role:
As a Translator, you will be at the forefront of bridging language barriers! Your responsibilities will include:

• Translation: Convert written content from the source language to the target language with accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Review & Edit: Proofread and edit translations to ensure consistency with organizational terminology and style guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to align on tone, terminology, and best practices.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
• Project Management: Oversee translation projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Resource Updating: Assist in maintaining glossaries, translation memory tools, and linguistic reference materials.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Dutch and English languages (written and verbal).
• Grammar & Syntax Mastery: A strong command of grammar, syntax, and linguistic nuances.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading skills to ensure the highest quality translations.
• Multi-tasking Ability: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Competency: Familiarity with translation tools, productivity software, and document formatting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in professional translation, localization, or related linguistic work.
• Familiarity with industry-standard translation tools (eg, CAT tools).
• Experience in a corporate environment and working with cross-functional teams.
